BMW Vision iNext: Future Exlectric SUV
BMW Vision iNext is the future electric crossover of the Elica brand. Imposing and slender, it introduces an unprecedented front that anticipates the future BMW i range.
The BMW-branded electric crossover is scheduled for 2021 but in the meantime projects and concepts for future members of the “i” range of the German manufacturer follow each other without stopping. The BMW Vision iNext SUV, a car with extreme lines, decidedly futuristic, but which makes us understand what could be the road taken by BMW technicians for the next decade. The large front bezel is inspired by the classic grid of the current BMW but is taller and more impressive, which makes it possible to hide sensors for driving assistance technologies behind it.
Equipped with side doors that open like the doors of a wardrobe, Vision iNext is characterized by very thin front headlights, rear-view mirrors replaced by cameras and doors that are operated simply by touching them with your fingers. The rear wing and the sloping roof give impetus to the car, which at the moment we do not know the size. But the rims are huge, even 24 inches, so it’s safe to assume that the BMW Vision iNext is anything but compact.
BMW Vision iNext Interior
Minimal interiors, with commands that can be managed by voice or by a simple touch. On board, therefore, the knob of the iDrive system can no longer be found, which currently on all BMWs allows managing the multimedia system. The interiors with wooden elements, apparently less technological than other cars, recall the living room of a house and a sense of great comfort. Engine and battery specifications have not yet been disclosed.
