2020 Mazda 6 AWD Review: Flagship Performance, Prestige & Comfort
We tested the 2020 Mazda 6, the top of the Japanese brand in the top version with all-wheel drive, automatic transmission. 2.2 184 hp turbodiesel with super-luxury and full-featured interiors for the price of $50,371. Here are our driving impressions.
Mazda is the Japanese brand more attentive to design and not by chance from the Mazda2 city car to the CX-5 crossover, the line always strikes for being slender and streamlined, managing to make the same sedans like the Mazda3 and Mazda6 very harmonious.
Mazda wanted us to try its flagship in a long dress, the Mazda 6 SW with the splendid Soul Red Crystal color combined with spectacular Pack White light leather interiors that really enhance the already pleasant and comfortable interior.
The generous 19-inch shoes on low-profile tires combined with all-wheel drive and the brightest engine in the range, the 2.2-liter turbo diesel of 184 bhp, complete the picture and the same price of $50,371 is certainly not a popular value but Mazda6 absolutely does not fear the qualitative comparison with the German premiums that ask for much more money!
It must be said that we are talking about the top of the range, while the already complete Mazda 6 Business 2.0 liter with 165 hp is offered for $37,127
2020 Mazda 6 Redesign Exterior & Interior
Aesthetically, we confess that the Mazda 6 has always liked us also in the sedan version and obviously with the hatch it gains momentum, meeting more the favors of us that even if we travel alone or with our partner we must have the possibility to load half the house and on the Mazda6 we leave from 522 liters to reach 1664 liters with which you can refurbish your cellar or go wild shopping at Ikea!
Outside it is beautiful. obviously subjective judgment, but the aggressive muzzle convinces and the slender sides look like those of a Samurai in action before delivering the final attack to his opponent with a tail that closes very well the job confirming that the Mazda pencils are used by design of great sensitivity so as to create its own style called Kodo Design.

2020 Mazda 6 AWD Performance & Fuel Economy
Given that the four-wheel drive greatly helps in the most critical conditions which also means wet road and therefore not necessarily the snowy pass of some Alpine pass, all-wheel drive pays a small pledge compared to the front on the side of consumption and acceleration.

A great performance like braking guaranteed by the front (ventilated) and rear discs without counting that between AWD and 19-inch shoes (very beautiful its cremations) on 225/45 tires they literally keep it glued on two tracks on any terrain and path.
The 2020 Mazda 6 is a traveling companion that makes you want to get to know far and wide both in terms of ride comfort, quietness as well as the aforementioned driving pleasure and its own sobriety in consumption despite having a cavalry of all respect.
