2020 Mazda 3 Redesign
The 2020 Mazda 3, compact in segment C, now in its fourth generation, is ready to make its debut at the 2018 Los Angeles Motor Show. A car that openly aims to contend the most beautiful scepter of the realm (or better, of the C segment) to the Volkswagen Golf, for years a leader in terms of sales and appeal for this type of vehicle. Around the renewed Mazda3 there is a great deal of curiosity and expectations are high, with the Japanese car arriving in European dealerships in the first few months of 2019.
The design is fascinating, at least according to the first renderings and spy images arrived in the editorial office in recent days. In fact, our reporter surprised some of the new Mazda3 forklifts while they were engaged in the classic pre-debut dynamic tests. The Kodo Design has allowed the Japanese designers to give life to a car with proportions that many have called almost perfect, as well as fluid and Sporty. It has that touch of the coupe that does not hurt and will be appreciated by both men and women.
2020 Mazda 3 Engine Improvement
The innovations do not stop at the aesthetic, given that under the bonnet we find the new four-cylinder petrol engine with compression ignition system, a technology that the House of Hiroshima has baptized with the name of SPCCI (Spark Controlled Compression Ignition) ). This new Skyactiv-X unit combines the well-known properties of a petrol engine with the advantages of a Diesel engine. More efficient (+ 30%) than a homolog Skyactiv-G, at the same time boasts better performance.
By 2030 the Mazda range will be fully electrified, but the near future is called Mazda Skyactiv-X. All that remains is to wait for the official debut of the car!
