2020 DS3 Crossback Specs & Price: Hybrid & Eelecric SUV
The 2020 DS3 Crossback debuts between the end of 2018 and the beginning of the new year with petrol, Diesel and mild-hybrid engines. The modular platform is the CMP.
From compact to urban SUV. The transformation of the DS 3, which debuts as the 2020 DS3 Crossback at the Paris Motor Show, is now something done. The French compact SUV, after the world premiere, arrives in dealerships only between the end of the current year and the beginning of 2019. It was the same French company, in an announcement posted on its social media channels, to communicate that the car will host new engines such as the new mild-hybrid version with 48 Volt electric and 100% electric propulsion system.
What you can see in the article are some leaked images and then put online by a well-known US magazine. Our impression is that these are official images – as far as low resolution – capable of highlighting the wide range of novelties present on the new entry level of the French atelier.
The electric version, however, will not arrive soon but will debut in about 12 months, at the end of 2019. Its name could be E-Tense and its autonomy not less than 450 kilometers. The DS 3 Crossback is developed on a new modular platform (CMP) also used by the second generation of Peugeot 2008 and the new 208. Also for this, there will be the classic diesel and especially petrol offers.
