2021 VW Golf 8; What’s New?
Among the most important novelties, we will see next year is the Volkswagen Golf 8, waiting for 2019. The famous sedan of the German brand is preparing for an important debut, as it will serve as a bridge with the future for the entire Volkswagen range. From the shots, we managed to get it is clear how the new Golf 8 will be longer than the previous version while maintaining the MQB modular platform used by the whole group.
According to rumors, Volkswagen will make available on the entire Golf range the automatic parking, in addition to putting the hybrid in different configurations in the center of attention. We already talk about Mild hybrid (with charging in gear), Plug-in hybrid (with domestic recharge) and pure Electric (GTE) as nerve centers, while also on Diesel we will see a hybrid configuration with the aim to lighten the consumption.
In the gallery, you can see how the 2021 VW Golf 8 has been revised technically, even if from the outside you would not say. The first aesthetic changes are rather appreciable to the interiors, where the technicians are already working to renew the bridge. On everything appears a new pushbutton panel and a digital display that reminds the TFT mounted on the latest generation of motorcycles.
With all the chances Volkswagen will give us some kind of tasting already at the next salon in Paris, which as tradition alternates with that of Frankfurt at the end of the summer. It could be the right opportunity to see the first sketches or even an exposed concept.
Needless to say, however, that there is no expectation of a disruption of the lines by Volkswagen, which has always preferred to take a step at a time even when under the irons of designers there were less important models.
